Sajama + Parinacota

Sajama + Parinacota. Bolivia Cordillera Real

The 6.542 metres of Sajama Volcano are the highest point of Bolivia. You can see the whole of the Western Valley and Payachatas Summits from here. Parinacota (6,342 m./20,802 ft.) and Pomerape (6,282 m./20,605 ft.) Volcanoes makes up the Payachatas Nevados. Sajama and Parinacota will be beautiful targets of our expedition.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to La Paz

Transfer to Hotel. City Tour

Day 2: La Paz - Sajama Village

Transfer to Samaja National Park
Rest at hostel

Day 3: Sajama Village - Géisers - Sajama Village

Acclimatization trekking to the Volcanic Géisers. Back to the Village

Day 4: Sajama Village - Aguas Termales -Sajama Village

Second acclimatize journey to the thermals baths. Back to village.

Day 5: Sajama Va. - Parinacota Base Camp

Approach Trekking to the Base Camp

Trip up to the Parinacota Base Camp

Return to the high camp.
