EAP Vallecitos

Our programmes were carefully designed to give climbers time enough to reach a good acclimatization. Though, in the past, some climbers ask for special programme to increase successful chances. According to these request, we have prepared an optional programme, which can be joined with our programme dates through any of our programmed dates.

Daily Program

• Day 1: Reception at the Airport. Transfer to the Hotel in Mendoza City.
• Day 2: Mendoza - Vallecitos. Transfer from Mendoza to Valles del Plata Sky Resort.
• Day 3: Move from Valles del Plata to Piedra Grande Camp. B-L-D.
• Day 4: Move from Piedra Grande Camp to Salto de Agua Camp (4200 mts.)
• Day 5: Rest at Salto de Agua.
• Day 6: Ascent of Mt. Vallecitos (5500 mts.) or Plata Peak (6310 mts.) depending on acclimatization evolution.
• Day 7: Descent from Salto de Agua camp to Valles del Plata and transfer to Penitentes.

Included Services

• Mountain Guide. (bilingual, experienced, professional).
• Transport Airport-Hotel in Mendoza by private vehicles.
• Transport in-out Mendoza- Valles del Plata by private vehicles.
  
• One (1) night accommodation at a three-star hotel in Mendoza City (prices based on double or triple occupancy).
• One (1) night accommodation at a Mountain Hut.
• Tame mules to carry the equipment (20 kg/pax) Mountain Hut - Piedra Grande Camp - Salto de Agua Camp and return.
• Sleeping tents.
• Radio for communications.
• Cook. All meals included as detailed on the itinerary. (B: breakfast, L: lunch, D: dinner)

Not Included

• Personal equipment.
• Rescue or other costs due to abandon of expedition.
• Personal expenses (tips, laundry, phone, porters ... )
• Extra nights in hotel in case of early return to the city.
